The blog will be updated again at the end of May or early June.
I just learned over the weekend that Tom Sito's book about the history of computer animation had just been released. It is a great read and it contains quite a lot of info about Disney, Pixar and... WDI's role in that story. A "must-have" according to my criteria.

This just in from Gunnar Andreassen:

[Have you ever seen Walt Disney ridin' on the Big Bad Wolf ?
If not, see the enclosed drawings from Hearst's International/Cosmopolitan, Feb. 1934.
It was made by the Cuban caricaturist Conrado Massaguer, who seems largely forgotten today.
An extract of his life story, ( and examples of this art) see this link.
On another page I found a photo of him and WD, taken outside the Disney Studio in 1951.
Massaguer claimed to be a friend of Walt, and wrote an autobiography in the 1950s.]

I promised to review this book as soon as I got a copy. If the only thing you are interested in when it comes to the life of Eddie Carroll is his roles for Disney, then unfortunately this book will disappoint you. It is, however, an excellent biography of a fun actor and if your interest in Carroll is broader than just Disney it is definitely worth picking up. (The photo shows the author and the book.)
