This just in from Jose Fonte:

[In the early '80s, Richard Williams' Studio created a series of TV ads for Fanta with Disney characters. I believe there were two of them. I need to know the date when they were released. Would anyone know? I am also trying to find out who animatec them.

I am working on a book about Robert Zemekis and this would be an important detail for the chapter about Roger Rabbit.]

Can anyone help?

I'm sure there were more than two Fanta comercials. Those were show in Brazil too and were very impressive. Editora Abril's Disney artists did some Fanta drawings too that were published on the comics.

Who is Richard Zemekis? If the book is about Robert ZemeckisI hope the editing is tighter.

Fernando is right! I remember at least 4 TV ads with Disney characters. "Beach", "Space", "Soccer" and "Adventure" (Indiana Jones style).

that must have been early 1986. I remember dick working on them. I am not sure how many were animated, I have 2 in his showreels. he animated at least one completely by himself and I remember him being excited to animate mickey, donald and pluto. another thing was the 3-dimensional effect on the characters. in a way it was the same technique that was used later in roger rabbit. as far as I remember dick did the first test animation of roger falling down the stairs into the basement with an eddie valiant character at the same time.
